By Traffic mounting following serious collision on M180
Traffic is now mounting and long tailbacks are forming following a serious collision this morning on the M180.
The road is currently closed between junctions 2 and three whilst emergency services including the police, ambulances, and fire services attend the scene.
The Humber Bridge has now stated that traffic is building on the bridge as motorists are advised to avoid the areas.
Humberside Police and National Highways said the road could remain closed for several hours as the nature of the incident remains unclear.
Emergency services are in attendance at a road traffic collision on the M180 east bound, near to the junction of the M181.
There is currently standing traffic on the M180 east bound between junctions 2 and 3.

Motorists were first altered of the collision at 7:30 this morning, with traffic quickly building ever since.
