By Woman left with ‘deep lacerations’ after vicious dog attack
A Woman sustained multiple injuries after a dog attack in North Lincolnshire.
Humberside Police are appealing for information after a dog escaped from a property in Epworth and attcked a member of the public.
A 64-year-old woman was walking along Studcross in Epworth at around 5pm on Friday 10 June when a dog, believed to be a Belgian Malinois, attacked her.
Police stated the woman had sustained “puncture wounds and deep lacerations” to her arm. The woman then required medical treatment for her injuries.
In a statement, Humberside Police said:
“The dog is believed to have escaped from a nearby property as following on from the incident a man, thought to have been the dog’s owner approached the woman and restrained the dog.
“The owner is described as a white man and is believed to be approximately 5’7” tall. He is thought to be in his late 20’s to early 30’s and was wearing a dark jacket, jeans and a baseball cap.
