Lindsey Lodge to open their brand-new patient wing in their ‘biggest expansion’ yet! 

Lindsey Lodge Hospice will officially open their brand-new patient wing this Friday (29 July). 

Scunthorpe charity Lindsey Lodge Hospice has announced they will cut the ribbon on “The Butterfly Wing” this Friday. 

The fantastic news has been labelled the “biggest expansion project” the hospice has seen in over 20 years. 

The new 6 bed patient wing will officially open at 2:30pm with the event coinciding with the hospice’s 30-year anniversary. 

“In response to an increasing demand for its services and the ongoing pressure on bed availability within the NHS, Lindsey Lodge will significantly increase its inpatient capacity from 10 to 16 beds,” Lindsey Lodge said in a statement.
