Motorist in ‘serious condition’ after collision on A180 Westbound
There have been reports this morning of a collision on the A180 Killingholme, Westbound.
Emergency services are in attendance to the road traffic collision and diversions have been put in place.
Humberside Police have urged those motorists to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
Humberside Police have released a statement regarding the incident:
“Emergency services are currently in attendance to a road traffic collision on the A180 Killingholme Westbound.
“Traffic will be diverted to the A160.
“Please avoid the area and use alternative routes and we will update once the area is re-opened.”
In an updated statement, Humberside Police said:
“We are currently investigating a serious collision which occurred in the early hours of this morning (Monday 4 July) on the A180 near to the Immingham area.
“We can confirm there is one casualty who is currently in a serious but stable condition. A mandatory referral has been made to the IOPC.
