Police vehicle ‘intentionally’ damaged during active investigation
A Humberside Police vehicle has been “intentionally” damaged during an active investigation in Scunthorpe.
Last night, Humberside Police confirmed they had arrested a male suspect following an altercation in the town.
Additionally, the man was charged after being linked to two residential burglaries in the Frodinhgam ward, following further investigation by “Team 2 officers.”
Unfortunately, Humberside Police were forced to issue a statement, attached to their original announcement, after a CSI vehicle endured intentional vandalism.
Appealing for witnesses, the force said:
“Sadly whilst our CSI have been gathering evidence at the scene on Spencer Avenue, damage has intentionally been caused to their vehicle.
“This takes vital resources and equipment away from the public until fixed. If you witnessed the incident, please quote crime ref 22000021041.”
Updates to follow.
