‘Remarkable’ support helps Jerry Green replace destroyed paddock
Thanks to the ‘remarkable’ support and donations from members of the public, Jerry Green dog sanctuary is now able to replace its destroyed paddock.
Back in January extreme winds caused extensive and devastating damage to the enclosed paddock and shelter at the North Lincolnshire site.
An appeal was launched to restore the vital area, with many locals supporting and donating to this worthwhile cause.
Now, the sanctuary can erect a new and ‘very much’ improved shelter to help raise vital funds for dogs in their care.
Since the paddock was ruined, the playful pups at Jerry Green have been enjoying off-lead safe play as well as being open to the public for hire.
Jerry Green said: “No doubt you will remember, in January extreme winds caused devastating damage to our North Lincolnshire enclosed paddock and shelter.
“We launched an appeal to help us rebuild and restore this vital area.
“The support we received was truly remarkable, and we couldn’t be more grateful! Due to this support, plans are in place to erect a new, very much improved shelter, which we are looking forward to sharing with you soon!
“In the meantime, we wanted to let you know that since the appeal and the enclosure being secured, our dogs have been enjoying off-lead safe play as well as being open to the public for hire.
“Our paddock hire enterprise helps raise vital funds for the dogs in our care and we were so pleased that the appeal helped us get back up and running as soon as possible!”
