Appeal after two teenagers left with serious injuries in collision 

Police are appealing for witnesses after two teenagers were left with “serious” injuries in a multi-vehicle collision. 

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on Ferry Road, Scunthorpe on Sunday 29 May. 

It is understood that the collision took place at round 10.55pm at the junction with Crosby Avenue, which involved a red moped, carrying two teenagers, and a blue Audi car. 

The two teenagers were taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries as a result of the incident. 

“Anyone that witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage from the area at the time, is asked to call 101 quoting log 599 of 29 May or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111”, Humberside Police said in a statement.
