Grimsby Town to screen Notts County Play-off Eliminator!
Grimsby Town will screen their upcoming play-off Eliminator against Notts County.
The Mariners were able to secure a play-off spot thanks to a 1-0 win over Boreham Wood last week.
The Black and White Army have impressed supporters throughout the season and will now reap the rewards on Monday 23 May in a Vanarama National League Play-off Eliminator fixture!
However, as the tie will be an away trip for Town, a ticket limit of over 2,000 has been issued to the club.
Unhappy with the number of allocated tickets, Grimsby will screen the match in McMenemy’s, the club said in a statement.
“Grimsby Town Football Club will be throwing open the doors to McMenemy’s to screen our Vanarama National League Play-off Eliminator against Notts County on Monday 23rd May”, the club stated.
“We have decided to screen the game in McMenemy’s after Notts County’s decision to only allocate us 2,000 tickets for the fixture – a number we know won’t be enough to cover the demand from our supporters”, they added.
“If you’re not able to travel to Meadow Lane on Monday, what better way is there to support Paul Hurst and his players than from McMenemy’s at Blundell Park?”
An adult ticket will cost just £5 whilst under 18’s will be charged £3. The price of admission will include your first drink of the night!
Hot food will be available to purchase as well.
More information can be found on the club’s website.
