By Hunting knife discovered in Scunthorpe alleyway
A concerning discovery of a hunting knife has been made in a Scunthorpe alleyway.
Today, Humberside Police released a statement on social media that confirmed a member of the public had made a significant discovery in an alleyway just off Diana Street, Scunthorpe.
The force said the bladed article was now in their possession, awaiting destruction.
The alarming find prompted a quick response from concerned residents as one said:
“I’m living in a town I hardly recognise”
“What has happened to our town”, another added.
“So pleased the weapon is in safe hands”
“OMG! To think it was just on the streets”
