Full list of ward candidates ahead of May 5 elections

The local elections are now just days away, with 14 wards up for councillor elections.

On May 5 the people of North East Lincolnshire will have the opportunity to vote for their ward councillor in an election that will set the tone of the county and the country.

These elections will give the Conservatives and Labour the chance to see the general mood of the country, alluding to the potential outcome of a future general election.

The voter registration date has now passed and people can vote in person at their nearest polling station, which will be on their polling card.

Polling stations open at 7 am and close at 10 pm.
