By Weapon wielding criminal targets Grimsby shop
Footage has emerged following an alleged armed robbery at Today’s Local on Cartergate in Grimsby last night, Wednesday the 6th of April.
The incident occurred at around 9:30pm.
CCTV footage shows a masked man enter the premises, before throwing a black sack on the counter and demanding the staff member behind the counter “fill it up”.
He appears to be welding a black knife or sword.
The man responsible is thought to have taken some amount of cash, alcohol and cigarettes, among other items.
Fortunately, the entire incident was caught on camera.
The shop owner has now released the footage and launched a public appeal to identify the culprit.
