By Seal pups spotted on Cleethorpes beach
Seals have been spotted along the coast of Lincolnshire and Yorkshire as high tides hit the region.
Locals are advised to be alert, stay away from wildlife and keep dogs on leads when walking along coastal areas such as Cleethorpes beach.
A spokesperson for Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue wrote: “We’re receiving reports of multiple seals who have come in with the tide tonight.
“Please keep dogs on leads for the safety of your animals and that of these seals.
“Please also help keep them safe by not disclosing their location (as to avoid causing of a rush of people), keeping back for your safety and allowing them their rest.”
This particular seal was spotted on Cleethorpes Beach. He was reported to Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue and found to be in good health.
