Health concerns in North East Lincolnshire linked to deprivation
According to a report conducted by the All-Parliamentary Group, people living in deprived neighbourhoods are likely to suffer with health concerns.
The report for ‘left behind’ neighbourhoods has expressed the “devastating” impact of people living in deprived areas.
The All-Parliamentary Group has suggested that mental health is the “biggest issue” amongst residents living in depravity.
It is reported that Nunsthopre, Grimsby has been rated as “one of the most deprived” areas in England.
The report includes representation from residents living in Grimsby.
A farther of three has said that he suffers with “sleepless nights” and “panic attacks” due to his family’s ‘low’ income.
The man had received help at Centre 4 in Grimsby after his mental health began to deteriorate as a result of financial hardship.
The man had used a loan to complete his ‘class one license’ as he did not have enough money to resist the test.
He told Centre 4 that he had to use foodbanks and his family could go “four or five days without gas or electricity”
