Covid cases in North East Lincolnshire increase on previous week

Covid cases in North East Lincolnshire are increasing every week, with the current figure standing at 944, according to the Government’s Interactive Map which is updated on a weekly basis.

The case rate per 100,000 people in North East Lincolnshire is 592.4, and the number of cases in the borough has risen by 12.5 per cent compared to last week.

As of 30 November, there were 55 people in hospitals across the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Trust for Covid, with nine of those being in intensive care.

Between 29 November and 5 December, there have sadly been 2 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.
