Cannabis haul discovered at Grimsby property
Police were called to a property on Kesgrave Street, Grimsby, yesterday, where they discovered a large cannabis grow.
Engineers were also called to the scene just off Cleethorpe Road following reports that the electricity supply had been illegally bypassed.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested ahead of an appearance at Grimsby Magistrates Court.
The property was guarded by police for the remainder of the day.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said:
“A 27-year-old man has been charged with the production of cannabis and remanded in custody to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court.
“On Tuesday June 22 officers were called to a property on Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby at 4.30pm.
“Upon entering the premises, it is reported that a large cannabis grow was discovered, and electricity had also been abstracted dangerously.”
