Hull firm launches PPE recycling scheme
Hull company ReWorked, jointly with Wilko, has launched a new scheme to facilitate the recyling of PPE and lateral flow tests.
The firm has developed special new disposal bins which are made using 50% recycled PPE & other recycled plastics.
The company is first in the country to recycle lateral flow tests & has been running a national face mask recycling campaign with Wilko.
Since the start of the pandemic, PPE waste has presented significant environmental issues
But now, tonnes of plastic is being diverted from landfill and incineration, with ReWorked transforming hard to recycle plastics into chairs, tables and even new recyling bins.

We are the ONLY UK company #recycling rapid tests!
Our innovative PPE recycling scheme is already diverting tonnes of plastic from landfill and incineration.
