Calvin has received a total of over 30k message locally and nationally, including requests from Mexico, Germany, USA and Spain.
Calvin said he does ’10-15 sketches a day’ and has already completed 556 sketches in total.
He recently teamed up with Wilson and Cooper Independent Funeral Directors to create sketches for loved ones.
Wilson and Cooper shared ‘For every family we put together a little gift from us to you, we are proud to announce we will be giving every family a hand drawn portrait of their loved one. We think this is a special touch to our family’s in these uncertain times.’
They’re the faces remembered, detailed free sketches of those who’ve died of Covid, now gifts and tributes for the family and friends who have lost them.
Calvin has done local and national interviews including Sky, ITV Calendar, BBC Look North, Germany television and Mexico.
Calvin says ‘I always feel good and happy when people receive their sketches and send me pictures’
He continues ‘I am launching a website soon to start doing sketches for all families who have lost loved ones and not just because of Covid’.
