By Car discovered in Scunthorpe
A 36-year-old man and 32-year-old woman were arrested by our Roads Crime Team yesterday (Tuesday 19 January), after a vehicle linked to a number of shop thefts across our Force area, as well as Nottingham and South Yorkshire was discovered in a car park on Doncaster Road, Scunthorpe.
The vehicle had been left unattended, but on return to the car the pair were arrested on suspicion of shop theft and going equipped to steal.
A number of goods thought to have been stolen were recovered.
They remain in custody at this time whilst police continue with enquiries.
