By Comedian Andy Dick lands another disturbing conviction
Andy Dick will be behind bars for the next three months, after another conviction lands him in jail for a lengthier stay.
Andy Dick will be spending three months for a conviction on a sexual battery charge.
The 56-year-old comedian appeared in a Los Angeles court on Thursday, where he was sentenced to 90 days in jail, according to The Blast.
The judge ordered Dick to check himself into the Los Angeles County Jail starting November 17, where he will also be forced to register as a sex offender.
Dick was arrested in April 2018 after an Uber driver told the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department that he reached for and grabbed his crotch.
Following the conviction, the court also ordered that Dick complete, ’52 Alcoholics Anonymous sessions, 52 sexual compulsion anonymous sessions, 12 mental health counseling sessions, and pay restitution to the victim.’
After his release, he will spend the next 12 months on ‘summary probation’ where he’ll be monitored.
This case is the latest in a string of legal troubles, as the actor was sentenced to 14 days in jail back in 2019 on sexual battery charges when he grabbed a woman’s butt when she walked past him on the sidewalk, though he only spent one night in jail due to overcrowding.
A series of other convictions, of similar nature, have also seen Dick charged.
