Immersive ‘The Shining’ production set for Grimsby Central Hall!
An immersive production of ‘The Shining’ is coming to Grimsby Central Hall complete with props and is guaranteed to bring the film to life.
Cineshow showcases life-like productions of popular films to audiences and has already shown ‘Jaws in the water’ at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre and ‘La La Land’ at Grimsby Minster.
The group utilises props and actors to create an unforgettable night of entertainment, with performances and tours that bring the atmosphere of the film with them. The night will see Grimsby’s central hall turned into the Overlook Hotel, guests will receive tours and there will also be live music.
Guests will also be able to enjoy a live jazz band ‘Lady Kennedy & The Kubrick’s’ and prohibition-era alcohol, such as gin and bourbon.
Cineshow said in their release:
“Join us on October 14th as we turn Grimsby Central Hall into the Overlook Hotel, Colorado circa 1921 for the July 4th ball.
Guests will be given a rare and very special tour of the hotel before being whisked away to the Gold Room to celebrate the 4th of July in style so make sure you are dressed for the occasion.
“Knock back some of our prohibition-busting cocktails such as the “Red Rum” while dancing to live music from our house band “Lady Kennedy & the Kubrick’s” Finally we will head to the main theatre hall to enjoy the main feature movie. So come join us, after all… All work and no play makes Grimsby a dull place.”
The tickets are currently on sale on the Cineshow website here. There are general admission and VIP tickets available at £16 and £24 per person.
