Preloved clothing pop up shop opens in Scunthorpe this weekend!

A preloved clothing pop up shop will open its doors in Scunthorpe this weekend for local shoppers to purchase “hidden gems.”  

The Preloved Clothing Warehouse will host their very first pop up shop on Saturday 16 July, Westcliffe Community Centre from 10am until 4pm.  

Since the initial announcement, over 130 people have expressed their interest in the event. 

Following the unprecedented interest, owners Katie shepherd and Natalie Jacklin decided to incorporate a male selection to accommodate for everybody. 

Furthermore, Katie and Natalie confirmed they have over 5,000 clothing items that will be on sale. 

The event, which will take place the Saturday, will feature an array of local stores for shoppers to enjoy with the focal point highlighting environmentally friendly shopping with a cost-friendly price tag.  

During times of financial difficulty, exacerbated by the rising cost of living, the Preloved Clothing Warehouse aims to eradicate money troubles were possible. Additionally, the business takes pride in their mission to cut clothing hitting landfills – their moto, “stay green in style.”

A spokesperson for Preloved Clothing Warehouse described the event as exciting and budget friendly, evidenced by their incredible item price tags:  

“Come and shop our preloved clothing collection, sizes 6-24 and a range of styles to suit all ages. Every item is under £5.   

“At our very first event we are welcoming over 11 startup and small businesses to promote our keep it local ethic. A range of diverse stalls from fudge, cakes, children’s toys, party planners, personalised gifts and much more!   

“Come network, shop and support local. It is free entry all day from 10AM-4PM @ the Westcliffe community centre.”
