A16 Traffic light failure causing long delays and frustration for motorists

A traffic light failure is causing serious delays of around 40 minutes in and around the Lincolnshire town, Louth.

The lights on the A16 Grimsby Road, Louth, are currently down according to the traffic monitoring site Inrix.

The lights situated at the Bolingbroke Road junction are currently down and not functioning. Two lanes of traffic are currently closed.

The queueing traffic is also subjected to various roadworks going on in the area also.

Google Maps has shown slow-moving traffic around the area as well, suggesting delays of up to 40 minutes. 4 miles of tailbacks can currently be seen on Google Maps traffic function, with long tailbacks and frustration in the heat.
