Fantastic staff organised Jubilee celebrations for care home residents

Fantastic staff at a North Lincolnshire care home spent months preparing the perfect Jubilee celebrations for their residents.

Staff at the Orchard Court Care Home, in Brigg, spent months planning and preparing celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee for their residents to enjoy!

The staff went all out with the event, securing a delicious buffet, incredible entertainment, and even eye-catching royal fancy dress outfits.

The homes’ moto, “there’s no party like an Orchard party” had been evidenced through the heart-warming gallery of images that had been produced from the event – care home staff and residents alike were pictured laughing, smiling, and having a royally fun time.

Relatives for those staying at the home issued words of love and gratitude as the staff had gone “above and beyond”

“Looks like an amazing party”, added another.

“What a fabulous team you have, so caring!”, stated another.

Speaking to Gi Scunthorpe, a spokesperson for Orchard Court said:

“After the last two years we have been unable to hold such events which has always been a big thing for us at Orchard Court”

“What better way for us to be opening up to community and getting back to how we use to be than The Queens Jubilee. The residents enjoyed all the planning and prep and the day was perfect”, they added.

“Lots of residents were excited about bringing back all the memories from street parties they had previously been involved with. It was a wonderful day. We have a fantastic team at Orchard we are very lucky”
