Great Coates in Bloom receives wonderful royal message
The Great Coates in Bloom Committee have received a very special royal message!
The Great Costes in Bloom Committee, a voluntary initiative to better the community, received a wonderful royal message that thanked the Committee for their environmental services to the community.
In the message, the Committee was told how “touched” the Queen was to learn of the 70 trees that had been planted throughout Great Coates, as part of the “Green Canopy” initiative.
“The Queen wishes me to thank you very much for your letter, and for the kind message you sent on the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of Her Majesty’s Accession to the Throne”, the message said.
“The Queen was interested to see your flyer which shows, in stages, the work you undertook in the creation of your splendid Platinum Jubilee Commemorative Garden”, it added.
“Her Majesty was touched to learn also of the seventy tress you have planted throughout Great Coates as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy initiative”
“Her Majesty hopes that residents and visitors, both today and in generations to come, will greatly appreciate your contribution to a greener local environment and I am to thank you again for the local sentiments you have expressed in writing as you did in this, The Queen’s milestone Platinum Jubilee year”
What an amazing message for the Committee and the Great Coates community! Well done for the wonderful environmentally friendly work!
