A whole host of exciting summer events are planned for North East Lincolnshire, with a range of fun.
North East Lincolnshire is preparing for a bumper summer of events, live music, and festivals galore.
In early June to celebrate Her Majesty, the Queen’s 70th anniversary year, Thursday 2nd June will see a string of commemorative beacons lit to help form a chain of light around the UK.
Over the weekend, throughout the local area will see picnics and parties in most of our major towns. Also, The Great Grimsby 10K Race is on Sunday.
Armed Forces weekend will be back on the last weekend in June. With the return of the Cleethorpes Carnival on the Friday, it will be a busy weekend full of events.
The Summer Steam gala at Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway is set for mid-July, and live music will take place at the Kingsway Kiosk in Cleethorpes throughout August.
Festival of the Sea will return to Grimsby Town Centre in Mid July – with free entertainment for all ages on the bill.
“It’s a chance for everyone to learn a bit more about the town’s history.”
Meridian Showground will host firm Pop Live on 17 June and the Gathering Festival on 18 June. The Scooter Rally returns in early July, Cleethorpes and Grimsby Pride on 23 July, and Outdoor cinema events and the fair in August.
