By Man charged after sexual assault in Scartho
Humberside Police have released an update regarding an incident that took place last week.
An incident was reported last week when a woman was sexually assaulted in Scartho, as she walked along Pelham Avenue.
The assault took place on Pelham Avenue, at around 5:15 pm on Friday 6th May.
The man, Darren Johnson, was arrested on Saturday 7th May and is understood to have attended court yesterday.
Mr. Johnson appeared in court charged with sexual assault in regards to the incident that took place.
Humberside Police put out a release that stated:
“A man appeared in court yesterday charged with sexual assault in relation to an alleged incident in Scartho last week.
“It was reported that a woman was sexually assaulted as she walked along Pelham Avenue, Scartho, at around 5:15pm on Friday 6 May.
“Darren Johnson (43) of Ingoldmells, Lincolnshire, was arrested on Saturday 7 May and attended court yesterday, where he was bailed to appear at Grimsby Crown Court next month.”
