Arrests made after cannabis grow found on Legsby Avenue
Two men have been arrested by police following a drugs raid at a house on Legsby Avenue in Grimsby.
The raid took place at the property on Monday afternoon after suspicions of a cannabis grow were raised.
Humberside Police have confirmed two men have been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
Both men remain in police custody where they are waiting to be interviewed.
The force posted pictures of the aftermath of the raid on social media showing the front door to the house surrounded by broken glass and several cannabis plants in a room within the property.
A Humberside Police spokeswoman said: “A Misuse of Drugs Act warrant was served at a property on Legsby Avenue in Grimsby yesterday (Monday 25 April 2022).
“Two men (aged 23 and 33) were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and remain in custody as we continue with our enquiries.
“Anyone with information about drugs in their communities can call our non-emergency number 101 to report their concerns and help keep our streets safe.”
