An exciting and innovative storytelling experience is making its way to Grimsby in a gravity-defying performance.
Urban Astronaut is an out-of-this-world performance that suspends the performer 20 ft in the air along with a captivating story and dance performance.
It travels between towns and cities searching for a solution to the current climate disaster, provoking audiences to think about our environmental future.
Urban Astronaut is just one of some art experiences coming to Grimsby on May 28 and 29 produced by the Culture House in association with Ørsted as part of Grimsby Creates.
Writing about the event, The Culture House said: “Urban Astronaut provides a glimpse of a future that might be… where problems surrounding air pollution have grown to crisis point, is there any way back? What can the Urban Astronaut learn from audiences now that might change his future?
“Combining stunning design, innovative performance (using a unique travelling flying machine that suspends the performer 20ft in the air) with simple storytelling and moving dance performance, Urban Astronaut travels through towns and cities searching for a solution to the environmental disaster that is present in our near future. The answer is found in a simple encounter with a young girl who provides the one thing the astronaut has lost… hope.
