Man arrested after St Luke’s Court blaze
A man has been arrested after a blaze at St Luke’s Court caused severe damage to a ground floor flat and a car.
On Sunday at roughly 6 am emergency services responded to reports that a car had been set on fire off Heneage Road in Grimsby
Humberside Police said: “A 21-year-old man is currently in our custody after he was arrested in connection with an incident where a man was injured in a fire on Heneage Road, Grimsby yesterday morning, Sunday 24 April.
“We were called shortly after 6 am with reports that a car had allegedly been set alight. Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are thought to be serious but not life threatening.
“A man has been arrested in connection with the fire, he remains in our custody whilst enquiries continue.
“Officers are in the area, conducting patrols and carrying out enquiries, we ask anyone with concerns to please speak to them.
