Amazing things to do this Easter weekend in North East Lincolnshire

This Easter weekend is set to bring sunshine across the area, and with the kiddies off school and the grown-ups off work, there are so many amazing things to do!

Here’s a taste of some family fun taking place across the next four days:

Today, Good Friday, and also Saturday, take the family down to the Easter Trail at Peaks Top Farm.

Open 9 am to 4 pm (last entry 3 pm), walk the trail, and answer the questions. Entry costs £3.50. There are refreshments and homemade cake along with their Fabulously Fruity wines to purchase.

Also today and Saturday, Freeman Street Market is hosting a free Easter Egg Hunt, plus arts & crafts and more.

Join in the eggcellent family fun Good Friday through to Easter Monday at Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway.

No booking is required, just turn up and hop on board the Easter Eggspress, running every 30 minutes from 10:30 am. Meet the Easter Bunny and take part in the Easter Trail.

On Saturday, take a visit into Grimsby town centre to Grimsby Minster as it’s the Original Emporium Cleethorpes Makers Market. Come and support your local artists, makers, and food creators. Foodie stalls include The Greek Shack, Junk Soul Smothered, Get Stuffed, Joella’s, Doughnut Dreams, and Bar Bubbles. Open 10am to 5pm.

On Sunday, Grimsby Record Fair takes place at St Giles Church Hall, Scartho Grimsby. Open 10 am to 3 pm – five hours of vinyl delights with sellers from near and far!

Also on Sunday Waltham Windmill is hosting their Easter Fun Day, 10 am to 4 pm. There’s an Easter bonnet competition and a just-for-fun Easter egg picture hunt.

Tour the mill and Waltham Museum of Rural Life and the RAF Grimsby Exhibition. Steam trains are running, subject to weather (Good Friday to Easter Monday 10.45-3.45), and there’s homemade ice cream, refreshments, and more!
