Bank holiday weekend travel changes in North East Lincolnshire
As the four-day bank holiday weekend approaches locals are urged to check bus and train timetables as they could be operating under different hours.
On Good Friday, Stagecoach buses will be operating on a Saturday service, and on Easter Monday a Sunday service will replace regular bus times.
Phone’n’Ride will also be operating differently over the weekend. On Good Friday, Sunday, and Easter Monday the service will not operate.
The Saturday will see normal services operating, however.
The Cleethorpes to Manchester Picadilly TransPennine service will also see changes.
A reduced service will take place on 16 April and 17 April due to a planned strike.
FTPE advice is to travel on Friday 15 April or Monday 18 April over Easter if possible.
For those who need to travel on the days when strike action is taking place over Easter, customers are advised that services are expected to be busy, and they should check the status of their service before they travel.
The East Midlands service between Grimsby and Lincoln will be reduced on Easter Sunday.
The Cleethorpes to Barton upon Humber service will not operate on Easter Sunday.
