Man charged after incident at Jet station

Humberside Police have provided an update following an incident at the Jet petrol station on Cromwell Road in Grimsby.

The station was sealed off by police in the early hours of Saturday the 2nd of April, with officers remaining on the scene well into the next day.

Now, officers have confirmed that a 36-year-old man has been charged with robbery.

Kiel Jagger, of Chapelfield Road, Goxhill, is due to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court today, Monday the 4th of April.

Two men were initially arrested, but one was released without charge.

A statement issued by Humberside Police reads: “Two men were arrested in the early hours of Saturday 2 April 2022 after reports of a robbery at a petrol station on Cromwell Road in Grimsby.

“Kiel Jagger (36) of Chapelfield Road, Goxhill was subsequently charged with robbery and is due to appear at Magistrates court today (Monday 4 April)

“The second man was released without charge.”
