Boy, 16, arrested over head injury assault
A 16-year-old boy was arrested in Market Rasen.
A man was hospitalised with a serious head injury from an assault.
According to reports, Police were called to Union Street, Market Rasen just after 21:00 on Friday.
There were reports of a man being injured.
Lincolnshire Police have said the injuries are not suggested to be life-threatening.
The 16-year-old was arrested along with a 20-year-old man, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Allegedly, both have been released on bail.
The Police appeal to those with information to get in touch.
They said “We would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with information relevant to the investigation. We would also urge anyone with a dashcam or mobile phone footage to get in touch.
“Update, 3 April: A second male, aged 16, has been arrested. Both he, and the 20-year-old arrested yesterday, have been released on Police bail pending further inquiries.
“Both were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
“The victim remains in hospital. “.
