By Two in custody after dental break-in
Two men were arrested on suspicion of burglary yesterday evening, Wednesday 9th March, following a reported break-in at a dental practice in Grimsby.
Officers arrived to discover the two suspects still on the scene.
They were found to be filling their pockets with items belonging to the practice, and were quickly redirected to Birchin Way.
In a Facebook post issued by the team, a spokesperson for Humberside Police wrote: ” Two males arrested this evening on suspicion of burglary.
“They had been filling their pockets after a break in at a dentists.
“Due to a lack of wisdom the pair were arrested after a brush with the law.
“They veneerly got away with it as well, but due some speedy police work they are behind the Colgates of custody at Birchin way.
“I think the arresting officers deserve a plaque for their efforts.”
The pair were arrested and remain in custody this morning.
