Here is this weeks rundown for the Scunthorpe Tuesday Pool League!
The team KO final will once again be contested by the the top two teams in division 1 as both champions elect Showman’s Army and likely runners up Fu Cue progressed following victories over club rivals Cobras 5-2 and Chaos 5-4 respectively.
Mulligans Trojans gave themselves hope of a top two finish winning 11-2 against Black Beauty A, however, they’ll require a similar result on round 18 plus results to go their way to pinch 2nd.
The team KO plate quarter finals were underway this week. The high placed side Back In Black Beauty of division 1 required a deciding frame to come away from Pig & Whistle with a place in the semi finals.
Division 4 title favourites Fedoras are on course for a possible double this season as they dispatched of last seasons plate finalists Schnapps A 5-2.
Beacon Rat Outcasts of division 3 made quick work of their game with their 5-2 win over RHH coming through before 9pm on the match day.
Lowest ranked Mill Road DM will also be hungry for a winners trophy after missing out on the division 6 title as they took division 5 champions elect Old Farmhouse to a decider before punching their spot into the semis.
The division 2 title race will go to the final day as both Brumby Hall and Redbourne Mods currently sit in the top 2 with identical records. Brumby Hall this week played their final game in hand, drawing 6-6 at Messingham Crown which has all but secured another season in division 2 for the hosts.
Mulligans Majestic Sausage Dogs needed four frames against second placed Winterton Jubilee to secure the division 3 title. A 6-6 draw secured top spot for Las Dachshunds and also runners up spot for Jubilee.
Harry’s Bar leaped back to the summit of division 4 with a more than convincing win away at Broughton WMCA however waiting in the wings is Fedoras in third place with three games in hand on the current league leaders.
In division 6 Black Beauty B kept up their hopes of a runners up spot by beating bottom placed Grosvenor B 10-2.
