Man attacked by two suspects in Grimsby
Humberside Police are investigating a reported assault after a man was allegedly attacked by two individuals in Grimsby.
The attack is thought to have occurred on Heneage Road on Sunday 6 February, just before 1:00am.
A man and a woman reportedly approached the victim from behind before assaulting him.
The man was left with multiple injuries, Humberside Police revealed.
The male suspect has been described as being white, around 31 years old, five feet 11 inches tall, with short, dark hair.
He was seen wearing a dark coat with grey or beige tracksuit bottoms and was riding a mountain bike.
The female suspect was described by officers as being white, in her late 20s or early 30s, five feet six inches tall, with shoulder-length, brown hair.
She was seen wearing a green, cagoule-style coat.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Officers are investigating a reported assault on Heneage Road, Grimsby are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch.
“The alleged attack occurred shortly before 1am on Sunday 6 February when a man and a woman are said to have approached a man from behind before assaulting him, leaving him with multiple injuries.”
They added: “Investigations into the assault have been underway and as part of this officers ae appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with information that may assist, to call our non-emergency 101 line quoting crime reference 16/21921/22.
“Alternatively, you can report information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
