Charity masquerade ball to take place this autumn

A North Lincolnshire resident has planned an amazing charity masquerade ball which is due to take place on Friday 2 September 2022.

Donna Marie Cook supports multiple charities in a bid to help youths who are going through various different struggles.

She is organising the charity masquerade ball single-handedly, an event which will take place at Forest Pines Broughton in North Lincolnshire.

The aim is to help ‘unmask mental health’ by raising money for local mental health charities.

Speaking to Gi Media, Donna said: “These last couple of years have seen a huge increase in mental health issues.

“There have been too many lives taken far too soon as a result of this illness.

“Our local charities are desperate for donations as they are sadly overwhelmed with people that need them and they sadly cannot help.”

Donna went on to say that she has a few sponsors for the charity masquerade ball but would be grateful to receive more.

She has already sold around 100 tickets, but she is eager to sell all 250 tickets to make a significant impact.

The charity masquerade ball will include raffle prizes running up to the event and for the auction on the night, but they are in need of a source for these prizes.

Donna added that she would be grateful for any help and support for the cause.

Tickets for the ball are currently being sold at £50 each (with £20 non-refundable deposits).

The price includes a three-course meal (set menu), an arrival cocktail/mocktail, entertainment and more.

Fire performers, magic acts, music, dancing and more will also feature at the event.

Her Facebook page, ‘Raising Money for Mental Health North Lincolnshire’, can be found here.

Her other fundraising activities can also be found on her page.
