Cleethorpes man jailed for 15 years
A Cleethorpes man and his partner have been jailed for over 23 years after they were found guilty of a number of offences.
The crimes, which occurred in Lincoln, include threats, robbery and an attack on a homeowner.
The pair are said to have used violence and intimidation to terrorize their victims, according to Lincolnshire Police.
Their imprisonment comes after a lengthy investigation.
DC Charlotte Bee who investigated the case added:
“Enright and Mitchell left their victims scared in their homes and used intimidation and violence to steal money and belongings.
“This type of behaviour will not be tolerated in Lincolnshire and those that engage in these crimes will be brought to justice.
“I hope that these sentences will being some closure to all victims targeted by the couple.”
David Enright, 38, of Harrington Street, Cleethorpes was handed a 15 year sentence at Lincoln Crown Court.
He was found guilty of robbery, burglary and the possession of a blade in a public place.
Danielle Mitchell, 36, of Flemming House, Lincoln was given an 8 and a half year sentence.
She was also found guilty of robbery and burglary.
Both have been ordered to pay surcharges of £190.
