Police appeal for witnesses following fatal North Lincolnshire collision

Humberside Police are appealing to the public for information after a fatal North Lincolnshire collision.

The incident occurred on Wednesday 22 December at 5:00pm on the B1207 between Broughton and Appleby.

The collision involved a car hitting and sadly killing a cyclist.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the B1207 between Broughton and Appleby, at 5pm yesterday [Wednesday 22 December 2021].

“A car and a cyclist were involved in the collision.

“Sadly, the cyclist has passed away.

“Their family is being supported by our specialist trained officers and our thoughts are with them following the tragic incident.

“We are appealing for anyone who was in the area with dash cam footage, or who was travelling in the area at the time of the collision, or moments prior, to call us on our non-emergency 101 number quoting log 385 of 22 December.”
