Man hospitalised following incident on Cartergate
According to Humberside Police, a man was taken to hospital following a violent incident which occurred on Cartergate, Grimsby, on Friday 13 August.
Humberside Police are now appealing for witnesses.
The victim was reportedly
assaulted by an unknown male at around 7:50pm.
The man is said to have punched the victim several times and pinned him against the wall before leaving the area.
As a result of the incident, the man was hospitalised and has received treatment for head injuries.
The culprit is described as being approximately 30 years old, white, of large build and around 6’ tall.
He had short brown hair and was wearing grey joggers and an aqua green t-shirt.
It is believed the male offender was in the company of another man. Officers are keen to talk to them both.
Speaking via Facebook, a spokesperson for the force said: “We are appealing for witnesses after an incident at 7:50pm on Friday 13 August on Cartergate, Grimsby.
“It is reported that a man was assaulted by an unknown male, who punched the victim several times and pinned him against the wall before leaving the area.
“As a result of the incident, the victim was taken to hospital to receive treatment for head injuries.
“We are appealing for anyone with information, or anyone who was in the area at the time who may have witnessed the assault, who has not yet spoken with us, to contact us.”
