A ‘busy night’ for Humberside Police
Friday night saw
Humberside Police officers in North East Lincolnshire called to a number of reports of assault and anti-social behaviour.
Officers were first called to reports of a domestic incident on Ripon Street,
Grimsby. One male was arrested for common assault and criminal damage to a shed, an internal door and some tiles.
They later attended a residential street in Grimsby after vandals smashed the front window of a Nissan Qashqai.
A male suspect was arrested for criminal damage. He remains in police custody.
Police in
Cleethorpes also dealt with several incidents of assault and anti-social behaviour as a result of people visiting pubs and bars in the area.
Speaking via social media, a spokesperson for the force wrote: “It’s great to see the pubs open again, however tonight has been a very busy night. Various assaults reported this evening have kept our officers very busy. Go out, enjoy but please drink responsibly.”
If you are concerned about anti-social behaviour or other offences, you can report it by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency.
