By Land’s End to Scunthorpe cycle ride for local charity
All of this week, a massive 465 miles cycle challenge to raise funds for the maternity bereavement suite in Scunthorpe will take place.
Russ, Tom and Dave are biking from Land’s End to Scunthorpe in memory of Charlie Coleman for the Health Tree Foundation.
‘We are riding in memory of Charlie, an angel baby delivered and cared for by the amazing staff on the delivery suite at Scunthorpe General Hospital.
‘It was heart warming to see the support also given to our dear friends and family by this incredible team last year.

So for the guys have raised £2,400 for the charity!
‘We are now raising money to further support the maternity suite delivery & bereavement teams to ensure angel babies and their families receive the best care they possibly can.
‘The route itself is from Land’s End to Scunthorpe and the ride will cover 465 miles over 5 days with a total 24,125 ft of climbing.’
