By Survey launched to gauge locals’ views on electric vehicles in North East Lincolnshire
A survey has just been launched by North East Lincolnshire Council and ENGIE to gauge people’s views on electric vehicles in North East Lincolnshire to identify possible future trends.
Backed by transport officials, the survey has been introduced to assist the Council in coming up with an EV strategy for the area and to help support evidence of the demand for electric vehicles in the future.
This evidence will help secure future funding bids to bring more infrastructure into the area.
Councillor Stewart Swinburn, portfolio holder for environment and transport, said: “We have always been committed to the EV agenda and working with ENGIE. We are embracing our role in supporting the change to EV and ultra-low emission vehicles.
“To support us in securing funding for the area, it is essential residents share their views with us and allow us to use the information to showcase how we will all support the EV agenda locally and allow us to develop our EV infrastructure in the coming years.
“It is a priority of mine to bring more EV charging points to the area for residents, businesses and visitors. Accessing Government funding streams is the best way for this to be delivered.
“The survey will only take a few minutes to complete and will really help to shape the future of EV in North East Lincolnshire.”
