Mother’s concern over her son after injuries at local school
Jakk 8, slipped on a log and really hurt his back when he was at school. Jakk’s mum Kellie said “he said he showed the teachers after the incident happened and the teachers didn’t tell me. Jakk also got hit over the head with a stick by another child and the staff didn’t say anything to me, my son told me everything as soon as he got in from school.
“So, I confronted the teachers next day after school hours and they had such an attitude on them and said they don’t need to tell us mothers about tiny scratches.
Kellie went on to say “How can you call this a tiny scratch? I should of been informed when it happened. The head teacher then pointed her finger in my face telling me if I don’t leave they will call cops!
The attitude, behaviour and lack of care for children is disgusting I just wanted a full explanation and apology for them not informing me.
And because I confronted them and said I am to take this further they have now banned me from school.
“I am absolutely discussed and feel let down by the school my child’s welfare is most important and any incidents should be reported to parents.”
The school has been approached for comment.
