Volunteers wanted for Walking the Way to Health scheme in North Lincolnshire

The popular Walking the Way to Health scheme is gearing up to restart in line with the Government lockdown easing and North Lincolnshire need volunteer walk leaders.

Volunteers will lead short walks of up to three miles, usually around 90-minutes long, in their local community.

Walks are flexible depending on availability of volunteers, but can be anything from once a week to once a month.

Many areas have routes already mapped out, but walk leaders can suggest their own routes, although they will need to be risk assessed.

Walking for Health

Full training will be given and you will get the support of a local Health Walk officer.

You must be aged 18 or over to be a walk leader volunteer.
