By A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of money laundering and possession of an offensive weapon following a vehicle stop yesterday (Wednesday 10 February), on Collum Avenue, Scunthorpe.
Upon searching the vehicle officers discovered approximately £4000 cash, a large quantity cigarettes and what is believed to be a canister of CS gas.
The man remains in police custody whilst police continue with their investigation.
