Storm Darcy welcomes heavy snow

The Met Office announced an amber warning for snow and they wasn’t wrong!

Travel disruption and power cuts maybe likely today and people should allow extra time for essential travel.

The yellow weather warning is set across central and northern parts of the region until 14:00 on Monday.

A yellow weather warning, meaning possible travel disruption, is in place across the remainder of Lincolnshire.

There could  be as much as 15cm in parts of the East Midlands and Yorkshire and Humber region.

It comes as torrential weather and flooding hit many parts of our region, now the snow could potentially cause further disruption.

Weather warnings are in place for Tuesday and Wednesday also.

There are currently no traffic and travel incidents to report.
