Motorbikes causing problems in Grimsby

Police are appealing for information about ‘anti-social motorbikes’ in Grimsby after receiving a large number of call-outs.

“We seem to be getting a large amount of calls for service about anti-social motorbikes,” said a spokesperson for the Humberside Force.

“If you know where these bikes are getting stored, please let us know on 101 or on Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.”

Op Yellowfin is a police operation to tackle the crime associated with motorbikes and off-road bikes.

In the past months, dozens of stolen bikes have been recovered or seized. Bike helmets discarded by suspects have been recovered and offenders arrested.
