This happened after an incident on Waterside Road at around 9am on Monday.
It was reported that a car pulled up alongside the woman and one of the occupants assaulted her before fleeing.
The woman was taken to hospital to be treated for head injuries shortly after.

“We are looking to trace the Good Samaritan, who could also be a key witness.”
