Council set to take action over traffic issues in Healing

An improvement scheme looks set to take place at a busy junction in Healing.

North East Lincolnshire Council is planning to carry out a topographical survey at the B1210 and Low Road junction in the village on Wednesday, November 18.

The surveying will take place in the early hours of the morning between 3am and 6am, but will have no impact to traffic as all work will take place off the main carriageway.

Additionally, residents should not be affected by any noise during the works.

The survey is required to assist with the early stages of design work for proposed junction improvements at the site.

North East Lincolnshire Council said more details about the scheme would be shared once confirmed.

Councillor Stewart Swinburn, portfolio holder for environment and transport, said: “We’re continuing discussions about the ongoing parking issues in Healing with ward councillors, the parish council, local schools and the police.

“All involved are committed to resolving these issues for local residents and we will be engaging with them throughout the process of developing a junction improvement scheme for this area.”
